Health at Every Turn – Formula 1 and RDM

Formula 1 is the peak of speed, adrenaline, and ambition – but even in the fastest moments, health comes first. Since 2016, the medical services of Baku City Circuit (BCC) have been led by Dr. Rashid Vazirov, Executive Director of the Republican Diagnostic Center (RDM).

In 2025, during the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, over 335 medical staff and more than 20 emergency ambulances provided services across the race track and spectator areas. Due to multiple accidents in the qualifying round, six red flags were raised – setting a new Formula 1 record.
